SST anomalies for the end of October reveal:

1]  "Well mixed" wake from hurricane "Lili" extending from Bahamas
to region east of Bermuda.

2]  Non-El Nino conditions along E. Tropical Pacific continue to
show "equatorial longwave" signature of alternating warm/cold
regions approximately every 10 deg of lonigitude and negative SSTs
of SA coastline.

3]  Red Sea continues to show elevated SSTs.

4]  Where coral reef bleaching has been reported within past few
months [Johnston, Solomons, Hawaii, Red Sea], above normal SSTs are
continuing.

5]  Regions in Caribbean just north of Panama and in southern
Antilles are showing elevated SST conditions durning one of the
warmest periods of the year -- an indication that often precedes
bleaching.
