DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 1801Z November 21, 2019
SMOKE:
South Central and Southeastern U.S...
A significant amount of what is believed to be mainly
prescribed/agricultural seasonal type fire activity was detected across
portions of the South Central and Southeastern U.S. A large number of
mainly thin density smoke plumes were visible especially with some of
the fires in Alabama and Georgia. Cloud coverage throughout the U.S. made
it difficult to see any smoke plumes.
