DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0040Z December 26, 2024

SMOKE:
CONUS…
Due to heavy cloud cover over most of the CONUS, no significant smoke
plumes were visible for this evening’s analysis.

AEROSOL/SMOKE:
Eastern Mexico/Gulf of Mexico...
Areas of predominantly light density smoke and aerosols was observed
today along Mexico’s eastern coast, extending from eastern Mexico and
into parts of the Gulf of Mexico. Heavy cloud cover over southern Mexico
obstructed further smoke analysis.
