AMSR-3 Webpage Notice

NOAA processes data from the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer in partnership with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). As per the announcement on July 2, 2026, AMSR2 products will be decommissioned and replaced by AMSR3 versions. AMSR2 data and product generation will cease at 00z on September 2, 2026, as we transition to AMSR3. Users should expect a data gap for the Ocean product suite throughout September. Further updates will be provided.
